Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our comm unities.

Greetings from the brothers of the 661st House of Alpha located in the Illustrious District of Illinois. With the same pioneering spirit of our Seven Jewels, We, the Brothers of Rho Zeta Lambda chapter, are committed to shining the light of Alpha in Chicagoland’s underserved communities.

Our roots run deep in the Mighty Midwestern Region. It was in “the Bluegrass State” of Kentucky that birth was given to Rho Zeta Lambda in the town of Bowling Green. As our light grew dim, it was visionaries who reignited the flame to become a new beacon. In addition to being a progressive chapter in the Illinois District and Midwestern Region; we are partners with the Chicagoland Association of College and Alumni Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha, the Chicago Pan-Hellenic Council, the March of Dimes of Chicago, The Metropolitan Club of Chicago, Proviso East and West High Schools, and the Chicago Police Department.
